The Mad Music Asylum

The Mad Music Asylum is a 24 hour streaming radio station featuring music that is too good to be ignored and tunes that were largely forgotten by commercial radio. The Asylum plays a diverse mix of music from the 1960’s through today and is aimed at the late baby boom generation and beyond. 20% of the music played are tracks that radio listeners have come to know and love over the years. 50% are drawn from familiar artists but deep cuts that listeners may not be familiar with and 30% is music that fits the genre and tone but has largely been ignored by commercial radio. The station has over 5,000 tunes in its library and a listener never knows whats might be coming next.

The Mad Music Asylum was created by a professionally trained sound engineer who since 1982 has worked in television, radio, audio and video production and is a student of and authority on music and music history.
